FRF FBA is a two-step process; first user needs to generate the FRF's from the individual components of assembly. Subsequently do the solution from FBA. The frequency response function (FRF) and FRF-based assembly (FBA) are not new to MSC Nastran users. FRFs can be used to represent components. This capability facilitates the computation of the FRFs of individual components and also the subsequent computation of the FRFs of an assembly of such components from their individual FRFs.
FRF-based assembly process represents alternative approach to find the contributions from individual components. This webinar is focused on test cases and examples of FRF-FBA, understanding the auto load cases generated by MSC Nastran on to connections and from explicit load excitations.
This session includes:
- Brief Overview of FRF/FBA process
- Explanation of Point Mobility
- Explanation of Total Response and Components contribution (User loads vs Unit Loads
- Evaluation of loads on connection points
