MSC Software is proud to announce the availability of CAEfatigue 2021.1!

Note: With a continued focus on best-in-class solvers and unified workflows, CAEfatigue has moved to a quarterly release cadence so customers can benefit from more frequent updates throughout the year.

Release Highlights

Some main highlights of the CAEfatigue 2021.1 include:

• Time to PSD functionality added to Process Flow interface

Converting a time history event file into a PSD matrix file has been added to the Process Flow interface.

• Critical Plane analysis option added to Frequency Domain

The ability to do 2D / 3D Critical Plane analysis has been added to the Frequency Domain to compliment this existing capability in the Time Domain.

• Material Handling functionality added to Process Flow interface

Selecting materials has been improved with a new interface for the internal Materials Database and an option to select materials from the MSC Material Center database (note: a Material Center license is required).

• Additional functionality added to Solver and GUI

CAEfatigue have made a number of smaller improvements including the support to read / write Nastran SET format, improved data output filtering options, improved channel mapping of loads to solver subcases, Neuber stress output added to the Frequency Domain, etc.
