Select entities between various radial boundaries

Abstract (Question)

How to select certain faces that lie between various radial boundaries (within concentric circular sectors)? Is there an easy approach to do this? 

This could be useful for applying deferent Boundary conditions or material properties etc to various locations.

 

Description (Answer)

In order to be able to select certain faces that lie between various radial boundaries these steps should be followed: 
- Check on "Grid" and then click "Edit" 
- Select "Cylindrical" for type and "Set Origin" to the desired location


- In the Selection Control form choose "User Box" for Method 
- Click on ...Faces and enter the ranges for R, Phi (in degree) and Z direction consequently in the command line (0.22 0.82, 0 45, -1 1 for this example).
