Abstract (Question)

I am trying to export my EASY5 model as an Adams ESL (External System Library) dll. However, the menu option to do this is disabled (greyed out).  Why is this?

Description (Answer)

The option to export the model is disabled when a Fortran compiler is being used in EASY5 that is incompatible with Adams.

Usually, this occurs when EASY5 is using the MinGW32 or MinGW64 (GNU) Fortran compiler. This compiler is not compatible with Adams.

To fix the problem, you must first have the Intel Fortran Compiler installed on your computer. Then you must tell EASY5 to use that compiler instead of the GNU one.

If you have multiple Fortran compilers installed on the machine, and one of those is compatible with both EASY5 and Adams, you just need to tell EASY5 to use that Fortran compiler instead. A KB article describing the process to do this can be found here:
